recording of depositions. I use professional audio, video and lighting
equipment. With my completely digital setup, you never have to worry about a
bad tape or poor quality image or sound. I record video and audio directly to a
hard disk so there are no tapes to fool around with. This also enables me to
record for extended periods of time without interrupting the deposition.
As part of my professional commitment, I have a back-up system for both video
and audio. This ensures that you will always have a high quality recording of
your deposition no matter what.
At Tennessee Legal Media, LLC I offer post-production services in the form of
editing and duplication. I have the ability to accommodate these requests even
if I did not make the recording.

About My Equipment
All of the equipment that I use is professional grade. It is important to me that I
produce a high quality product yet still keep space and time in mind when it
comes to actually being in a room recording a deposition.
For video, I use a Sony professional camcorder plugged into a notebook
computer via a high-speed digital cable to record directly to a hard drive. The
camera is also connected to a DVD recorder as a backup.
For audio, I use subminiature lavaliere microphones which are very small so
that they do not become a distraction to the deponent or the viewer of the video.
As a backup, I connect a separate digital audio recorder to the system.
I also have a small lighting kit that can be placed in a room that has insufficient
light for recording video. I always use non-direct light to keep the intensity at a
low level so that it will not become a distraction.
